Revision

You'll have to pardon the reduction in the frequency of my uninteresting posts. As of the 30th of April I received my exam timetable. For me it consists of 6 exams, which all commence in the week 14th of May. I have three that week, two the next and one in the final week of my time in halls.

My response normally to exams isn't really noteworthy until a week or so before the exam, where I would then begin to look at some theory with minimal interest. This time, for whatever reason, it is completely different. Since the 30th of April I have been to the library (a new experience to me) every day and revised a good amount. I have never really been to libraries before and I still feel I should say that I am so surprised at how productive I can be in that setting.

So, I plan to continue with my revision and see if working harder on revision will help me come the exams, which I expect/fear may be pretty tricky. To end my talk on revision and exams (dull) I would have to say that I do feel proud in a way. Not that I feel I deserve any credit for my efforts or anything like that. It is simply the fact that by having the mindset to go and put in the effort, I've found myself wanting to go to the library to revise. And for what it is worth, it certainly does feel like a much better place to be mentally, as opposed to grappling with distraction and boredom to get anything done.

In a roundabout way, I come back to my "pardon" for the reduction in the frequency of any blog activity from me. I expect that this reduced activity will continue as long as I keep this revision drive going. And at the moment, it shows no signs of faltering.
