The weekend is here! First week back at uni with lectures and a lot of talk about exams. My views of them have changed a bit and I have more material to sustain me in the fact that I have some hard revision to do in the coming weeks if I want to do well.
That is all very well, but I have an enemy called Procrastination who will be doing everything evil and dastardly that he can to thwart my good intentions. I am vulnerable at my room in uni. He can strike at any time, thrusting FIFA in my face or insisting I go get a drink and a snack. However, I have a plan, one that Procrastination was not prepared for. On a recent trip to the library I got caught with a massive downpour of rain and decided I would go do some work until the rain stopped. Not an experience I've had before and I found that I got a lot done. Procrastination was hard to find, he didn't want to tell me to go do something else cause I was surrounded by books and other work minded students. All in a change of location he changed from a powerful, scheming enemy into a small, insignificant detail.
So the plan is to spend time at the library each day to guarantee I get work done when I start revising, and perhaps then anything I want to do extra I can attempt at my room. Likelihood of success? Better than before!
