Update

Its been a little while, but not much has changed. I have now completed 3 of my 6 exams. The first two went well and I was happy with myself. The third I was less contempt and know I lost a lot of marks. It does frustrate me that the exam had numerous spelling errors. During the exam they had to announce some amendments, which to me seems highly unprofessional. Moreover, they used a seminar question in there which I felt was very remiss of them and lazy, as some people would of easily picked up the marks from having remembered a number or two and not necessarily the proper methods.
I know this year doesn't count towards my degree overall, but I still strive to do my best. I am convinced I want to do well and think it will affect my chances of getting a third year placement. I have been stuck thinking about where I went wrong (as it was on the seminar question and I saw the answer I had from my seminar afterwards). I know what's done is done though, I just need to accept it.

I did learn that I need to make myself check carefully, as it was one mistake that sent me off the rails big time. If I struggle I need to turn over a new leaf, look at it from a new angle and check each detail closely, despite the level of confidence I may or may not have in what is there. Perhaps that could help in more than just good exam technique.

Tonight is the Champions League Final and being a Chelsea fan, naturally I am excited. I don't hold high hopes and I know football is highly unpredictable. So I plan to go watch, enjoy and let the game unfold before me.

This month is passing is a blur of library sessions, notes and information overload in revision. Not an ideal end to a nice time in halls, but hopefully will have a few nice occasions with everyone before we go our separate ways for the summer.
