Another day, another blog.

So here I find myself, again at the keyboard. Twice in a week! That is clearly madness, well, at least for me.

This weekend I have had some time to reflect on what is becoming apparent: I realistically have 2 more weeks left of the second year of uni. Then it is a short break for easter and then into a month of exams and it is suddenly over.

It is odd to think of it in those terms, considering it was back in 2012 when I started this year and that seems like such a distant place now. They say time flies, and to an extent I agree. I mean yes, I know the sensation comes about from you not remembering every detail so naturally it feels shorter, but ultimately, I look back and see that I have made some great memories and had some fun with friends, and that also, I have grown up that bit more. It is odd every time I think or say it, but I am 21! I jokingly say I feel old, but some times I really do!

I get the growing feeling that an era is drawing to a close. I guess I have that feeling because I am going on placement as is one of my housemates, with the remainder of them going onto their final year. I had the "ending of an era" feeling when I left school after GCSEs and A Levels, so perhaps it is odd to feel it with the second year of uni drawing to a close but there we go. Yes, I'm sure it will be different coming back to third year, with new faces on my course, but I expect I will still have a good time so will it really be so different?

As ever, time will tell. Shall blabber on again soon.
